about me
the risky look
( Florian Wetter, Theater Immoralisten)
Frank Müller’s works freeze the power of the moment in the image. He is fascinated by exceptional human situations. He harnesses the heat of emotion, capturing charged moments from a safe distance, and cooling them down with an analytical eye.
Müller’s origins lie in action photography. Theater and performance are the forms of expression that give him the opportunity to observe emotionally charged moments. The space is an integral component, as the released energies must be captured as part of the whole. Focal points shift, movements blur, the atmosphere becomes grainy, the light harsh.
People are surrounded by diffuse energies that they have projected into the space around them.
Müller transfers this theatrical experience to conventional situations and everyday activities. He waits for the precise moment and then risks a glance when the people feel unobserved. The distance afforded gives this view objectivity, while the object of his observation reveals its full intimacy.
For me, photography is a journey into the past and the future. Images either lie or tell the truth. Everyone creates their own impression of an image. As a photographer ( more like image makers), I try to interpret what I see with my shots.
To take (honest) images, I engage with the subject. Photography is engaging with and exploring what I see. My eyes are antennas for the senses… and it doesn’t always have to correspond to the truth or reality.
They can manipulate and evoke emotions. My images should tell a story… I don’t always achieve that. Over the past ten years, my work as a photographer has become anything but routine; I’m always looking for new projects and different directions in my photography.
I’d like to introduce you to my wedding photography services. With a wealth of With experience and passion, I capture the special moments of your big day and ensure that you feel comfortable and relaxed while being photographed.
